2018 China AI Leading Enterprise Top 20

  • Core business is AI-related or widely applies AI in core business
  • Company entity or core business is in China
  • Listed or latest valuation over $1 billion
  • Significant AI technology breakthrough or innovative development in the past year

2018 China AI Star Enterprise Top 50

  • Core business is AI-related or widely applies AI in core business
  • Company entity or core business is in China
  • Completed at least one funding round and is pre-IPO
  • Mature product or technology that has been market-validated

2018 China AI Most Respected Investment Institution Top 10

  • Core business is equity investment and related
  • Company entity or core business is in China
  • Invested in AI-related companies in the past two years

Evaluation Methodology

The Leading Enterprise and Star Enterprise rankings will be based on real company data, combined with QbitAI's interviews with hundreds of AI companies and dozens of industry experts over the past year. Evaluations consider capital strength, technical capability, commercial deployment, innovation, and brand influence.

The Most Respected Investment Institution ranking will be based on real data from investment institutions, combined with surveys of hundreds of AI companies. Evaluations consider fund size, investment capability, overall returns, company reputation, and brand influence.
