JUNMEI SHI

Dr. Junmei Shi holds a Ph.D. in Engineering (Computational Fluid Dynamics) from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany. Currently, he is the Deputy Chief Engineer of the Advanced Simulation Technology Department at BYD's New Technology Institute. Dr. Shi has worked at Helmholtz National Research Center (Germany), Siemens Automotive/Continental, Delphi Technologies, and BorgWarner. In 2023, he was selected for a national talent program. He is the pioneer of vortex atomization theory and was inducted into the ANSYS Hall of Fame twice (2017, 2018). At BYD, he has received multiple departmental and group awards. He currently leads the simulation and AI-driven electronic product forward engineering R&D system development at BYD's Intelligent Hardware R&D Center.
