While Xiaomi's YU7 GT set an SUV lap record at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, BYD Auto's official Weibo account once again congratulated Xiaomi Auto.

The first time BYD sent congratulations to Xiaomi Auto was at the launch of the new Xiaomi SU7 earlier this year.

In fact, the cooperation between the two companies goes back a long way, from Xiaomi phones manufactured by BYD Electronics to BYD's Blade Battery being supplied for Xiaomi cars.

The Xiaomi YU7 GT is set to be unveiled on May 21. It will have a lower stance than the standard version, tuned by Xiaomi's European team, and come standard with CDC suspension and air springs. The expected price is around 400,000 yuan, competing with the Tesla Model Y Performance.
